  1. CONFIG.CTL is a "point-and-shoot" editor for your CONFIG.SYS file. It is
  2. invoked in your CONFIG.SYS file, and will modify the RAM image of the
  3. CONFIG.SYS file when the machine performs the bootstrap load. You may load
  4. your CONFIG.SYS file with every device driver and as many BUFFERS=, FILES=,
  5. and FCBS= as you have ever used, then with CONFIG.CTL change the parameters
  6. to suit your needs each time you boot the machine. De-activated statements
  7. in the CONFIG.SYS file will generate a harmless "Unrecognized command in
  8. Config.sys" message. Ignore them (see CONFIG.ASM for information on the
  9. in RAM format for CONFIG.SYS statements. also see the original magazine
  10. article for even more information on CONFIG.CTL and DOS device drivers).
